And now for something happier…

There are lots of other great things happening, though.  Carla got her hair cut and dyed yesterday (purple with a couple of streaks of black), and she looks mighty fine (she always has, but this is just an added bonus).  Woohoo!

Starting in March my friend Brian and I are going to be watching the movies on AFI’s list of top 25 scores, and blogging about it.  This is awesome for many reasons:  hanging out with Brian is always fun, I get to see a lot of classics I’ve never seen before, and it will force me to actually write on my blog.

Thanks to Half Price Books, a coupon, and tax money, I bought a 160 GB iPod, so now I can listen to ALL the music in my car (well, maybe not all).  It just happens to be great timing, because I’ve been having a big craving for a day of driving around aimlessly.  I also have a few out of state people to go hang out with!

And then, this Wednesday, I’m getting together with 3 other friends for Mario day.  We’re going to play New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Mario Kart Wii until the wii hours in the morning.

So despite this week being a difficult, there’s a lot of fun coming up!
